I head up the Technical Support Department for shared support. My duties include overseeing the 1st tier support staff and assistance with 2nd tier support. Originally, I’m from St. Louis where I spent my childhood. Chicago became my home in ’92 where I attended the School of the Art Institute until graduating in ’97. Web designing brought me to the webhosting industry, which lead to employment at midPhase/Hosting Services. I enjoy resolving issues, video games, comic books, and other general tech/geek related subjects that most are too embarrassed to admit liking.

They call me Marc, it’s lonely at the top. Lonely… and awesome.

Well, my name is Marc Bollinger and I’m the General Manager over here at midPhase. What is my role here? Heh.. I basically make sure everything is running as smoothly as it possibly can. My story is actually quite unique. I started out as a midPhase customer around 4 years ago and I was quite the “difficult” client. The one truly unique aspect of this company that always made me stick around is its personal touch. The managers were directly involved in the day-to-day operations of every aspect of midPhase and have always been very approachable and congnicent of problems. Even after we have grown to nearly 100,000 clients, we still pride ourselves on providing the personal touch. We can always provide the best service and price, but having a staff that truly cares about each and every customer is something special. My role is to ensure we never lose this unique quality and that we continue to innovate fresh ideas to providing service and support.
